THE SYLA SHIBUYA-TOMIGAYA sponsored JAPAN NIGHT held on May 17 at the five-star Hotel Martinez Cannes in Cannes, France, to promote Japanese films and culture to the world. The event was hosted by KICKY, represented by actress and businesswoman MEGUMI, and was attended by many prominent figures in the film industry. The event featured a speech by actor/director Takumi Saito, presentations by directors Taichi Kimura, Koji Fukada, and Tetsuya Chihara, and was also attended by Hirokazu Koreeda, who served as a juror for this year's competition section. By sponsoring such an international event, THE SYLA SHIBUYA-TOMIGAYA was able to increase brand awareness and promote its presence to film industry professionals around the world.
