Features of the Fund
This fund is dedicated to the development of lodging facilities comprising a total of 13 buildings, including 12 accommodation buildings and one management building, situated in the Southern Alps area of Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture. The project spans three distinct phases. In the first phase, from construction inception to building sale, construction costs are financed through this fund. Subsequently, the second phase encompasses framework completion to sale, while the third phase extends from building completion to sale. Ultimately, the completed property is planned to be transferred to a management-type fund.

The upcoming accommodations will be the new “SANU 2nd Home” building. The membership service offered by SANU enables subscribers to access vacation homes through a monthly fee.

Aligned with SANU’s vision of fostering harmony between humanity and the environment, the properties featured in "SANU 2nd Home" are unique, environmentally conscious architecture. Since its inception, 60 SANU Cabins have been constructed, incorporating environmental considerations such as 100% domestic thinned lumber, minimal concrete usage, and carbon-negative initiatives. Furthermore, the facilities are equipped with amenities that allow guests to feel at home, including Wi-Fi access and a kitchen equipped with cooking utensils. This harmonious fusion of nature and functionality has garnered widespread acclaim for its comfort and design, culminating in the prestigious “Minister of the Environment Award” at the Japan Wood Design Award 2023.

Resonated with SANU’s concept of “Live with nature,” Rimawari-kun will support SANU’s project aiming for a better future for both nature and people.
