Takahide Watanabe, CSO of SYLA Technologies, Will Give a Special Presentation at the “Nasdaq IPO Seminar 2024” Hosted by Greenberg Traurig

About the Nasdaq IPO Seminar 2024
During the Seminar, Takahide Watanabe, CSO, Director, and Secretary of SYLA, will deliver a special presentation. Additionally, attorneys specializing in IPOs and SPAC mergers, with expertise in capital markets and mergers and acquisitions from Greenberg Traurig's U.S. office, will also take the stage. They will provide insights into listing on the NASDAQ stock market, discussing the two main options available for Japanese companies seeking a NASDAQ listing.

Chieko Murata has been with Nasdaq Tokyo office since its opening in 2008. Apart from her primary responsibility of offering exchange technology support, she also assists Japanese companies in listing on Nasdaq.

Masakazu Kakuno

After joining Ernst & Young ShinNihon LLC, Masakazu Kakuno was engaged in J GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP audits for companies in the manufacturing industry, etc. In 2014, he moved to Financial Accounting Advisory, actively participating in various US IPO projects and IFRS conversions. He holds the credentials of a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Member Analyst of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan. He also earned an MBA in Professional Accountant.

Alan Annex is co-chair of the Greenberg Traurig’s Global Corporate Practice. He regularly leads multi-disciplinary deal teams in a wide variety of large-cap and middle-market domestic and cross-border transactions. He also served as architect of the structure for the early US SPACs of the 1990s. Alan has broad experience in corporate and securities matters, and regularly advises public company boards, special committees, and managements regarding M&A deal strategies, capital raising structures and techniques, fiduciary duties and corporate governance best practices.
