1) 1) Accelerate member acquisition by introducing Rakuten ID connect option

We are planning to introduce "Rakuten ID connect option" in the future. This service will improve usability by allowing users to register as a Rimawari-kun member using their Rakuten ID, greatly reducing the amount of work required to enter information when registering as a member. (*The use of Rakuten ID is based on the customer's permission.)

2) Launch of "Rimawari-kun" application

"Rimawari-kun" has been available on the web since June 2021, and now we plan to Launch the "Rimawari-kun" mobile app around the middle of June 2023. The application will not only allow users to continue using the existing web-based service, but will also enable members to register simply by holding up their Individual Number Card to start investment within one minute.

3) Exchange Rakuten Points to Rimawari-kun Coins

”Rimawari-kun" allows investors to invest by using the Rimawari-kun Coins. Rimawari-kun Coins can be exchanged from Rakuten Points (regular points) to Rimawari-kun Coins (1 point = 1 coin), and can be applied to the investment amount as 1 coin = 1 yen from your Rimawari-kun Coins balance when investing in the fund. (*Rakuten points can be converted to Rimawari-kun Coin in units of 1,000 points.)

4) GRCF concept (Government Real Estate Crowdfunding)


Government crowdfunding (GRCF) is an initiative to revitalize real estate by rebuilding or making major repairs to aging or unoccupied properties in rural areas with grants, funding from investors, and other sources. SYLA will use the government crowdfunding mechanism to create a system where investors can receive tax deductions or refunds in addition to regular dividends, thereby increasing the number of investors who support the project and revitalizing negative real estate assets financed by taxpayers' money. We aim to revitalize tax-funded negative real estate assets.

5) Research on childcare support housing by industry, government and academia

A joint research project on "child-rearing supportive housing" will be launched through an industry-government-academia collaboration among the government, local governments, educational institutions, and SYLA. The joint research with Okayama University has already started on April 10, and with the cooperation of Okayama University, we will work more actively to revitalize underutilized real estate in rural areas to address the issues of regional development and declining birthrates, which are the most important issues for Japan as "a countermeasure against the declining birthrate in another dimension" as proposed by Prime Minister Kishida.
